Wendy is a Guelph based calligrapher whose love of lettering began in a high school art class. Having a BA in Literature from the University of Guelph, lettering was a natural progression as an artistic expression of Wendy’s love of words. Since 1983, she has continued her calligraphic journey with local and international workshops and instructors. She has been involved with the Royal City Calligraphy Guild for 16 years, 5 of those as president. For several years, she owned and operated Eden Place Village Glass and Gift in Eden Mills, specializing in stained glass. Through her current business, My Personal Scribe, she takes commissions for certificates, poems, quotes and mailings that long for a personal touch. Through teaching various workshops and classes, she is excited to help others discover the love of lettering.
